Read-only information here includes port status and packet specific statistics. Also provided are "system up time" and "poll interval(s)". The Poll Interval(s) field is configurable. DESCRIPTION Downstream Speed This is the downstream speed of your Prestige. Node-Link Interface Status This field displays the remote node index number and link type. For the WAN port, this displays the port speed and duplex setting if you're using Ethernet encapsulation and down (line is down), idle (line (ppp) idle), dial (starting to trigger a call) and drop (dropping a call) if you're using PPPoE encapsulation. This field displays the number of bytes transmitted in the last second. Click this button to apply the new poll interval you entered in the Poll Interval field above. Click this button to halt the refreshing of the system statistics. TxPkts RxPkts Errors Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time Collisions Poll Interval(s) Set Interval Stop Maintenance 21-5 Prestige 652 Series User's Guide 21. 3 DHCP Table Screen DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, RFC 2131 and RFC 2132) allows individual clients to obtain TCP/IP configuration at start-up from a server. When configured as a server, the Prestige provides the TCP/IP configuration for the clients. If set to None, DHCP service will be disabled and you must have another DHCP server on your LAN, or else the computer must be manually configured. The DHCP table shows current DHCP Client information (including IP Address, Host Name and MAC Address) of all network clients using the DHCP server. Figure 21-3 DHCP Table The following table describes the fields in this screen. Table 21-3 DHCP Table LABEL Host Name This is the name of the host computer. IP Address This field displays the IP address relative to the Host Name field. MAC Address This field displays the MAC (Media Access Control) address of the computer with the displayed host name. The MAC address is assigned at the factory and consists of six pairs of hexadecimal characters, for example, 00:A0:C5:00:00:02.
