Cancel 122 GS-2750 User's Guide CHAPTER 13. 1 Broadcast Storm Control Setup 13 Broadcast Storm Control This chapter introduces and shows you how to configure the broadcast storm control feature. Broadcast storm control limits the number of broadcast, multicast and destination lookup failure (DLF) packets the Switch receives per second on the ports. When the maximum number of allowable broadcast, multicast and/or DLF packets is reached per second, the subsequent packets are discarded. Enable this feature to reduce broadcast, multicast and/or DLF packets in your network. Click Advanced Application > Broadcast Storm Control in the navigation panel to display the screen as shown next. Click Advanced Application > Mirroring in the navigation panel to display the Mirroring screen. Use this screen to select a monitor port and specify the traffic flow to be copied to the monitor port.
