User Guide | 19 Protecting the Network with Yoggie Gatekeeper SOHOTM Connecting Yoggie Gatekeeper through a Switch Connecting Yoggie Gatekeeper through a Switch To connect Yoggie Gatekeeper through a switch: 1. The Yoggie GatekeeperTM boots (wait until the LED indicators stop blinking). Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to one of the ports on your router and the other end to the Net port on the Yoggie GatekeeperTM, as shown below. This connection will provide Internet communication into Yoggie Gatekeeper. Connect another Ethernet cable to the one of the ports on your network switch and the other end to the PC port on the Yoggie GatekeeperTM, as shown below. This connection will provide secure Internet connection to all the computers that are connected to the switch. User Guide | 21 Yoggie Management Console Accessing the Management Console via the Yoggie GatekeeperTM Icon Yoggie Management Console The Yoggie Management Console (Management Console) provides access to the Yoggie GatekeeperTM management features through your Web browser. You can monitor security activity by viewing the current security status, view and print security reports and logs, view and configure security, system and user settings, view and print non-security event system logs, and more. The Management Console can be accessed in the following ways: Yoggie GatekeeperTM icon --if the Yoggie GatekeeperTM driver and software is installed (see Getting Started). Web browser--the Management Console URL can be manually entered into a Web browser at any time. If the Yoggie GatekeeperTM driver is not installed, you will always access the Management Console using this method. Accessing the Management Console via the Yoggie GatekeeperTM Icon The Yoggie Gatekeeper Management Console can be accessed via the Yoggie GatekeeperTM icon if the Yoggie GatekeeperTM driver and software have been installed. In the Windows notification area, right-click the Yoggie GatekeeperTM icon 2. If the Yoggie GatekeeperTM driver is not installed, this is the method you use to access the Management Console. Enter the following Yoggie Gatekeeper Management Console URL into the address field of your Web browser: https://yoggie. yoggie. com:8443 The Login dialog box opens. 2. Enter the following information: Username--admin Password--enter your Yoggie GatekeeperTM password (the default password is yoggie).
