Placement on a sloping, unstable surface or on steps may result in the product being unstable and subject to overturning. Loosen the bolts on the following seven clamps (A to G) and rotate or move the clamps to the positions shown below. Following this, securely tighten all of the bolts to lock the clamps in place. • One snare clamp (A) • Three tom clamps (B, C, and D) • Two cymbal clamps (E and F) • One drum module clamp (G) Tom clamps (x3) E G B A C F Drum module clamp D Snare clamp Cymbal clamps (x2) NOTE Tom clamp D should be moved but not rotated. (All other clamps are rotated. ) RS502 Owner’s Manual 9 2. Attach a tom holder to each of the three tom clamps. CAUTION Take special care with tom holders as they have sharp tips that could cause injury. Tom holder Bolt Tom clamp 2-1. Securely tighten the bolt on the cymbal clamp. NOTE When tightening the bolt, ensure that the black sleeve is positioned inside the clamp’s mounting hole and securely held. 10 RS502 Owner’s Manual 4. Attach the snare holder to the snare clamp. CAUTION Take special care with the snare holder as the rod has a sharp tip that could cause injury. Snare holder Snare clamp Bolt 4-1. Troubleshooting  The rack is unstable even though placed on a level surface. Check whether the arrow stickers are lined up with the slits in the clamps.
