"MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3)" is a standard technology and format for compressing an audio sequence into a small-sized file. However it preserves the original level of sound quality when it is played. "WMA (Windows Media Audio)" is a Microsoft file format for encoding digital audio files similar to MP3 though can compress files at a higher rate than MP3. Note This unit does not support the progressive JPEG format. What is DivX®?"DivX®" is a video compression technology developed by DivX® Networks, Inc.
