Depending on which voices you combine using the split mode, the combination may sound better if one of the voices is shifted up or down an octave. Use the [­/NOM] and [+/YESL] buttons to set the octave of the Left or Right Voice as required. The available settings are "0" for normal pitch, "­1" to shift the pitch down one octave, and "1" to shift the pitch up one octave. Press the [­/NOM] and [+/YESL] buttons simultaneously to recall the default setting (different for each voice combination). Set according to the pitch extent for the song you want to play.
