When you are going to sleep while enjoying a broadcast or other desired input source, this timer function is useful. The SLEEP timer can be controlled only with the remote control transmitter. Notes · To set the SLEEP timer for this unit, set the SELECTOR DIAL to a position other than the TV postition. To set the SLEEP timer for your TV, set the SELECTOR DIAL to the TV position. · The components on which the SLEEP timer is effective are the sources connected to the SWITCHED AC OUTLET(S) on the rear panel of this unit. 1 To set the SLEEP time To cancel the selected SLEEP time Remote control 1 Press SLEEP once or more to select the desired SLEEP time. The processor allows you to electronically expand and change the shape of the audio sound field from both audio and video sources, creating a theater-like experience in your listening room. You can create an excellent audio sound field by selecting a suitable sound field program (this will, of course, depend on what you are listening to), and adding any desired adjustments. The following list gives you a brief description of the sound fields produced by each of the DSP programs. Keep in mind that most of these are precise digital recreations of actual acoustic environments.
