When this is set to OFF, a generic frequency response will be used and the D-XSUB function will be turned off. HPF switch (DXR series) Specifies the HPF's cut-off frequency. If the switch is set to 120Hz or 100Hz, the high-pass filter will cut the frequency components below that threshold. If you plan to use your DXR without a subwoofer, set this switch to OFF. If you use multiple subwoofers at the same time, set the POLARITY switch of adjacent subwoofers to the same position. Otherwise, the sounds from each speaker may cancel each other, resulting in diminished sound pressure.
