Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Patch the signal to and from the currently selected effects processor. Select and recall Auto Doppler. n When you recall the program, all effects processor outputs will be muted temporarily. Locate the Effects Edit page. [. . . ] The value can be changed by double-clicking the slider or speed display and entering a number from the keyboard. It can also be changed by dragging the mouse up and down on the speed display. 4 FADE TIME [FADE TIME] Slider/[FADE TIME] Knob This sets the length of time for the fade-in from the set start point, and the fade-out time to the end point. FADE TIME Display Displays the set Fade Time in seconds. It can be set from 0. 1 to 10 seconds. 5 5 DISTANCE [DISTANCE] Slider/[DISTANCE] Knob Adjusts the strength of attenuation in volume caused by distance. The actual distance during movement is determined by the SPEED and time. By changing the value for DISTANCE, you can adjust the difference in volume between when the sound source is near or far away, without varying the PITCH. DISTANCE Display Displays the amount of distance, which indicates the strength of volume attenuation. The amount of attenuation strengthens (the volume of a distant sound is reduced) as this value is increased. 6 AIR ABSORPTION [AIR ABSORPTION] Slider/[AIR ABS] Knob This simulates the attenuation that occurs in the sound's high frequency component as the sound source and listener are separated. AIR ABSORPTION Display This displays the Air Absorption, which indicates attenuation of the high frequency component as a percentage. Attenuation grows stronger as you increase the number entered here. 7 PITCH PITCH Display Displays the change in pitch caused by the Doppler effect. Instead it is determined by editing the path, the time between each point based on the Timecode, and the Speed. DOPPLER [ON] Button/[DOPPLER] Knob Switches the pitch changing Doppler effect ON or OFF. When this is turned OFF, the PITCH display goes flat. 6 8 SURROUND MODE SURROUND MODE Display When the surround mode is 6. 1, "6. 1" is displayed. "3-1" is displayed for 3-1 surround, and "5. 1" is displayed for all others. [DIV] Knob/[DIV F] Knob Sets right and left for the front center signal, along with the percentage sent to the center channel. When the surround mode in the Auto Doppler window is 6. 1, [DIV. F] is displayed. [DIV. F] is always displayed in the Generic Editor window and console. DIV/DIV F Display Sets the DIV/DIV F values. [. . . ] This [T] button is disabled if it is in offline mode or the Clock Reference setting is MIDI Clock. End TIMECODE, [E] Button Sets the Timecode for the End Point. Pressing the [E] button on the left side sets it to the Timecode value displayed for the CURRENT TIME. [. . . ]
