If it is necessary to use them, only use adaptors, multiple jacks, and/or extensions in compliance with the safety laws and never exceed the maximum power indicated on the adaptor. ⷠDuring the heating or cooling phase it is possible to hear some noises coming from the boiler that are normal for the steel dilation. ⷠThe steam complete ironing station only can be used in dry rooms and not outside. The vacuuming force virtually glues the fabric to the board, making ironing more effective. The blowing force creates a pocket of air under the cover of the board, making it easier to iron more delicate fabrics. In this mode take care to use the iron gently and avoid to contact with the board. ⷠIt comes fitted with an exclusive features that allows it to be easily unfolded and positioned for use, and folded again with no effort. Can be restored by holding the iron a few cm above the fabric whilst pressing the steam button. ⷠCarpets or rugs can be restored to new, eliminating marks left by furniture resting on them, by penetrating the flattened area with steam and then brushing lightly. ⷠNever rest or use the iron on zips, hooks, rings etc as this could scratch the plate. ⷠAfter use, always wait for the iron to cool before putting it away. Keep attention not to let the cables touch the hot parts of the appliance. ⷠIf the appliance is not used for a long time it is suggested, before ironing, to press the steam supply button for 30 seconds putting the iron on a cloth ; this to clean the internal tubes of the appliance. ⷠDivide garments according to the required ironing temperature, starting with those which require the coolest temperature. ⷠWool, cotton and fine linen fabrics can be steam ironed on the wrong side or alternatively on the right side with a thin layer of material between the fabric to be ironed and the iron to avoid "shine". Iron white and light fabrics on the right side and dark colours on the wrong side. ⷠLinen can be steam ironed, steaming abundantly and ironing dark fabrics only on the wrong side to avoid "shine". [. . . ] Fix the supply cable [17], the connecting flexible hose [18] and the smoothing iron on the smoothing iron supporting base by means of the fixing belt [23]. ⷠTake the ironing board with two hands and close it by using the lever [10]. ⷠThe ironing board and the steam station can be kept divided. ⷠFor this reason, activate the closing hook on the steam station [24] front side and slide it along the sliding bars.
