Manual abstract: user guide WHIRLPOOL WA PLUS 634 AINSTRUCTION FOR USE

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Prefer to use a special liquid detergent for dark garments with this programme. At 40°C and 60°C most favourable programme in terms of combined water and energy consumption for washing cotton laundry. Briefly worn clothing made of cotton, artificial fibres and blends with cotton. Same as the last rinse and the final spin in the “Cotton” programme. [. . . ] In case you have an urgent need to open it during a running programme, refer to “Reset a running programme before the end”. SET CYCLE END (“FINISH IN”) Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions, in compliance with IEC/EN 60456. In the home, they may vary depending on the individual water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash. The consumption data indicated are based on an inlet water temperature of approx. 15°C through the cold fill valve as well as the hot fill valve (if available). If your washing machine has a hot fill valve, connection of this valve to hot water supply will lower the energy consumption by reduced heating times, depending on the individual hot fill inlet water temperature. Water and energy consumptions refer to the default setting of the programmes, with temperature and load as indicated in the table; selecting any options or changing the spin speed will also change the consumption data. The programme duration may differ from the values indicated above as it depends on the operation conditions applicable at that time (see also “Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use). To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle before the water is drained. Automatic adaptation of programme duration after detection of wash load. LOAD LAUNDRY, ADD DETERGENT AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME Load the laundry, close the door and add detergent as indicated on the front page and as described in the chapter “Detergent and Additives” in your Instructions for Use. The display shows the programme duration and the predefined spin speed. The “Start/Pause” indicator blinks. • • your detergent (only use powder detergent with this option). Chlorine or perborate bleaches must not be used! “15° Green & Clean” button • • • • • Enables ecological washing by saving energy used for waterheating, while maintaining a good wash result. Bright colours live longer with this option; this was tested and approved by the German “wfk” laundry research institute. Make sure that your detergent is suitable for cold wash temperatures (15 or 20°C). Not selectable for Cotton 95°C. SELECT ANY DESIRED OPTION Push the button of any option desired - the indicator lights up. If the combination programme/option or option/option is not possible, the indicator switches off automatically. “Prewash” button • Adds a prewash cycle to the wash programme selected; prolongs the programme by about a quarter of an hour. • Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash when selecting “Prewash”. “Rapid” button • Enables quicker washing by shortening the programme duration. “Clean +” button • Choose this option if you use an in-wash additive for stain removal (powder, for example “Vanish”) - it will optimize the additive’s efficiency to get better wash performance and stain removal. [. . . ] In this case, the washing machine will tumble the laundry regularly to keep it fresh, until the selected “Finish in” time has expired. The tumbling phase can be stopped at any time either by pressing any button or by rotating the programme selector; the animation will stop and the door will unlock in about 1 minute as indicated on the display. FAILURE INDICATORS If one of the failure indicators blinks, consult the “Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use. “Service”: failure or malfunction of an electrical component. Spin speed on display blinks: unbalance during spinning. PROGRAMME END • 1. [. . . ]
