[. . . ] If a required Location is not available Add a new location (see instructions above). To Assign a Location Highlight the required location from the `Available Locations' list. To Edit a Location Highlight the required location from the `Available Locations' list. Click [Edit Location] Type in [New Location] name Click [OK] This will change the location name throughout the entire database. To transfer selected location names from the `Available Locations' list to the `Assigned Locations' list Click ii. To transfer selected location names from the `Assigned Locations' list to the `Available Locations' list Click iii. To transfer all location names from the `Assigned Locations' list to the `Available Locations' list Click iv. Tab 3 - COMMENTS Use this tab to record any extra information if required. Once all information has been added to all fields as required Click [OK] again. The site will now be added to the Site list in your New Database. NOTES: 1. There must be at least one Site setup for WinPATS Lite to function normally. Location/s within the Site Details must be added to be able to continue with any tests. Locations required must be in the `Assigned Locations' list and not the `Available Locations' to be available when adding equipment. In the Locations list, you can select multiple locations by holding down `Ctrl' and selecting the required location/s. Double clicking a location in the `Location Name' list will transfer it to the `Assigned Locations' list. Page 29 "The Home of Innovative Instrument & Software Technology" www. wavecom. com. au Chapter 5 ­ WinPATSTM Operation Equipment Equipment Inventory To Add Equipment A single piece of equipment, with an existing barcode 1. 2. Click [Equipment] Click [Add] The following screen will appear. 3. Fill in all required information into each tab section of the `Site Details' Box including the following: i. Type In [Site, Location, Description, Make Model, Serial No, Asset No, Frequency] 4. Scan or enter the barcode (If entering by hand, hit Enter when done) If the barcode is not being used by anything else, you will be asked if you want to add equipment Click Yes If the question does not appear, equipment will be listed that uses the entered barcode. If you are sure the equipment is still new: Click Add (+) on the toolbar. The New Equipment screen will appear Enter the equipment details on the General tab The Test Due Date will default to the current date, unless otherwise adjusted. Click on the Testing tab Set the Testing Frequency Barcode numbers may be entered by a Barcode Scanner. [. . . ] To move columns around go back to the previous form and change the order of selected fields. Column adjustments are remembered while going back and forth.
