The base station must be connected to the mains electricity supply using the power adapter. INSTALLING BATTERY PACK: Battery Pack INSTALLING THE HANDSET BATTERY PACK: Install the battery pack, first connect the plug on the lead to the socket and lay the battery as per diagram, fit the battery compartment door. Failure to do so could result in batteries exploding whilst being charged and void the warranty. BATTERY LOW WARNING: CHARGING THE HANDSET: Place the handset on the base and leave until the handset battery pack is fully charged (at least 12 hours). The charge LED on the base will light up whilst the handset is on base. When the phone is in standby mode, if you see the in use LED flashing, it means that the battery is low and you need to replace your handset on the base station to recharge. · When the phone is off the hook, if the battery is low, you will hear battery low warning tone every 2 seconds. · When there is an incoming call, it will have a warning beep every 2 seconds the line will disconnect after 90 seconds. OUT OF RANGE WARNING: When handset moved beyond operation range, an out of range warning tone will sound. Handset and base station will on hook automatically after 20 seconds if out of range condition persists. WARNING: Your base must be connected to the electricity supply at ALL times, except when the product is not to be used for long periods of time.
