Suggeston · Make sure the battery s nstalled and charged correctly (page 2). For optmum daly performance, return the cordless handset to the telephone base or charger after use. · Make sure the power adapter s securely plugged nto an outlet not controlled by a wall swtch. · Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged firmly into the telephone base and the wall jack. Allow up to one mnute for the cordless handset and telephone base to synchronze. · Charge the battery n the cordless handset for at least 16 hours. If that stll does not work, t may be necessary to purchase a new battery. · Dsconnect the telephone base from the jack and plug n a workng telephone. If ths telephone does not work, the problem s probably n the wrng or the local servce. · Place the handset n the telephone base or charger for rechargng. · Remove and re-nstall the battery and use t normally untl fully dscharged, then recharge the handset on the telephone base or charger for 16 hours. · If the above measures do not correct the problem, the battery may need to be replaced. Suggeston · Make sure the handset s placed n the telephone base or charger correctly. · Remove the battery from the handset and then re-nstall t n the handset. Put the handset back to the telephone base or charger and charge for 16 hours. · If the cordless handset s n the charger or n the telephone base but the CHargE lght s not on, see The CHargE light is off n ths secton. Please see the warranty secton of ths user's manual (page 42) for further nstructon. · Clean the chargng contacts on the cordless handset(s) and telephone base each month usng a pencl eraser or a dry non-abrasve fabrc. · Make sure the power adapter and telephone lne cords are plugged n correctly and securely.
