Photo Playback Mode When you first turn on the camera, the camera will be in Photo Capture mode by default. The playback mode will allow you to review and edit photos and videos that you‟ve already taken with you camera. Viewing Photos on Your Camera 1)  Select your Photo: Once in Playback mode, press LEFT or RIGHT direction buttons to scroll through the images on your digital video recorder‟s memory card until you find the image you would like to view.   2)  Each captured image (videos and photos) will display on the LCD screen. Photos will appear with a „JPG‟ icon on the top left of the LCD screen. Zooming In/Out of your selected Photo: Press the T / Zoom In button to Zoom In and magnify the selected photo. Use the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT direction buttons to navigate around the photo. Use the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT direction buttons to navigate around the photo. 30 Thumbnail View Easily navigate and select the image you wish to view by using the Thumbnail View. The images on your camera will be displayed in a 3 X 3 matrix where you can use the direction buttons to scroll and select images from the thumbnails. 1) 2) 3) Press the W/Zoom Out button All the images on your camera will appear in the Thumbnail View. Quick Function Button Left Action Displays the PREVIOUS image Views all the Photos as a Slide Show with 3, 5 or 10 second Up intervals (to exit the Slide Show, press any button) Right Down Other Opens Thumbnail View  W/Zoom out     To Navigate in the Thumbnail View: press the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT direction buttons To select a JPG in the Thumbnail View: press the SET button Opens the menu options for Photo Playback Mode Saves your selected menu option Note: To navigate through the Menus, use the Left, Up, Right, and Down directions control buttons. Displays the NEXT image ViviLink – Opens the ViviLink for Photos menu SET 31 Photo Playback Mode Menus The following are the menus that appear in your camera‟s Photo Playback Mode: Delete Menu While in the Playback Mode, you can delete pictures from your camera using the Delete menu. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) View the photo you would like to delete. Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Delete menu. Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the menu options. To delete the selected photo, select “Delete This Photo?” and press SET button.  If you would like to proceed with deleting the current image: select „Yes‟ and press the SET button to confirm. The photo will be deleted and you will exit the menu and return to the Playback mode.  If you do not want to delete the current image, select „No‟ and press the SET button. The photo will not be deleted and you will exit the menu and return to the Playback mode. 6) To delete all the images (videos and photos) you have saved on your SD Memory card, select „Delete All Images‟ and press the SET button.  If you would like to proceed with deleting all the videos and photos, select „Yes‟ and press the SET button to confirm. All of your images will be permanently deleted. 32 A blank „No Files Exist‟ screen will appear. [. . . ] Click the “Get Images” button to transfer the photos and videos from your camera to your computer. A media download progress bar appears on the bottom left showing the number of media files downloading to your computer. A message appears when the download is complete. 10) The photo and video files that you selected are now downloaded to your computer to the selected folder and albums ready for your use. 56 Get started!
