However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment dose cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. [. . . ] Retain instructions-The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference. If replacement of the plug is required, be sure the service technician has used a replacement plug specified by the manufacturer that has the same overload protection as the original plug. Lightning-For added protection for this product during lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges. Overloading-Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. 16. Object and Liquid Entry-Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Servicing-Do not attempt to service product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerrous voltage or other hazards. Damage Requiring Service-Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: a. CUE KEY Pressing cue button returns the CD to the last set "CUE" point and pauses it. The CUE point is either the position at which "PLAY" was last actually started or the "LOOP IN" point it was previously set. Pressing the "CUE" button a second time allows the music to be played from the "CUE" position until it is released. Repeatedly pressing the cue button allows the CD to be played from the same position any number of times. The CUE LED will light up from the time the CUE button is pressed until the CD has reset to the position at which play was started. Steady lighting of this LED indicates the ready condition. SEARCH DIAL This search dial serves two functions depending on the mode you are working in. Player will return normal playback. 26 DISPLAY Shows the information of playback. Without controller, shows track number. PLAY/PAUSE KEY Each press of the PLAY/PAUSE button cause the operation to change from play to pause or from pause to play. 31 OPEN/CLOSE KEY Press to load or eject disc. note: Tray will not open unless the disc has been stopped. 36 HEADPHONE LEVEL Adjusts the headphone output level. 37 HEADPHONE JACK Connect the headphones to this jack.
