[. . . ] www. vaisala. com Vaisala Fixed Display QMD202 Features/Benefits Local User Interface for MAWS The HydroMet system can be equipped with the QMD202 display and keyboard unit at the installation site where the operator needs to see the measurement values locally and insert observations or reference data into the system. [. . . ] The full display size expressed in characters is 20 x 6 (width x height). The contents, format, and updating intervals of these reports are user-configurable. The update interval can be anything between 1 second and 24 hours. Installation Outside the Enclosure The QMD202 unit can also be installed outside the MAWS enclosure via the RS-232 or the full-duplex RS-485 connection. The RS-485 connection together with a DSI485 module installed into the MAWS data logger allows installations up to 1000 meters from the logger.
