Jump to records that Press the number key correspondng to the start wth a certan letter letter you want to jump to. Store a record n the phonebook Dal a record Delete a record Delete all records Ext the Caller ID lst Fnd the record you want to store and press [select/ ]. Press [ ]. If you subscrbe to call watng, a tone sounds f a call comes n when you are on the phone. If you subscrbe to Caller ID on call watng, the Caller ID nformaton of the watng call appears on the dsplay. To return to the orgnal caller, press [ /flash] on the handset agan. UsingCallWaiting UsingthePhonebook Your handset can store up to 70 names and numbers n your phonebook. When all the phonebook entres are full, you wll hear a beep and MEMORY FULL appears. You cannot store any addtonal names and numbers unless you delete some of the exstng ones. Once n the phonebook menu, you have the followng optons: ) Press [ ] agan or move the cursor to DIAL/EDIT and press [select/ ]. Whle on a call, press [select/ ] to cycle through the three audo tone optons: low, natural and hgh. (The default settng, Natural Tone, s recommended for hearng ad users. ) When the desred opton appears on the dsplay, stop. After two seconds, the dsplayed audo tone s set, and the dsplay returns to normal. 3 UsingtheClarityBoostFeature If you encounter nterference whle you are on a call, you can manually mprove the sound by turnng on the clarty boost feature. Press [menu/clear], move the cursor to select CLARITY BOOST, and then press [select/ ]. Use the same procedure to turn off clarty boost feature, BOOST OFF appears. 4 UsingHold, Conference, TransferandIntercom Press [hold/int'com/xfer]. If you leave a caller call will be Putacallonhold on hold for more than five minutes, the hold, press dsconnected. [ /flash] or To a call already n Joinacallalready [ jonYou can hang up progress, press ]. Use [ ] or [ ] to select the staton you want to transfer the call to, and press [select/ ]. (To page all statons at once, select ALL. ) When the other staton answers, you can talk to the staton; the outsde call remans on hold. To cancel the transfer and return to the call, press [ /flash] or [ ]. To answer the transfer page and speak to the transferrng staton, press [ /flash] or [hold/ int'com/xfer]. To accept the call and speak to the caller, press [ /flash] agan. Transferacall Cancelatransfer Accepta transferredcall Wth the phone n standby, press [hold/int'com/ xfer]. Makeanintercom Use [ ] or [ ] to select the staton you want page to talk wth, then press [select/ ]. (If you select ALL, all other statons wll be paged. ) Cancelapage Answeran intercompage To cancel the ntercom page, press [ ]. NOTICE:The Rnger Equvalence Number (REN) for ths termnal equpment s marked on the equpment tself. The REN assgned to each termnal equpment provdes an ndcaton of the maxmum number of termnals allowed to be connected to a telephone nterface. The termnaton on an nterface may consst of any combnaton of devces subject only to the requrement that the sum of the Rnger Equvalence Numbers of all the devices does not exceed five.
