This protects you from accidentally erasing messages you have not yet reviewed. You hear an announcement "Record memo message" and a confirmation tone. You hear a confirmation tone and the system returns to standby. · The voice memo function is completely independent of the greeting message. Because of the inherent physical properties of radio waves, your communications can be received by radio receiving devices other than your own cordless telephone unit.
