This is useful if you put the album art on the same folder. 35 6. 2. 3 Image Playback Only the PHOTO folder will show in the TViX HD when pressing the PHOTO button on the remote control. It applies only to the active partition if you have more than one partition. POWER On/Off button Mute button Go to Photo Folder Scroll button Previous File button Zoom button Next File button When playing contents, you can skip or go to the previous content with this button. OK/Selection button Change Volume Information button Shuffle button <NOTE> You can set the slideshow time interval at the SETUP menu. You can change the size of the picture with the ZOOM and SCROLL button. 36 Some non-standard JPEG files may not be displayed If you press the SETUP button, you will see in sequence the Contrast Brightness Saturation menus. In these menus, you can adjust the Contrast, Brightness and Saturation by pressing the left/right arrow buttons. When you see the picture files, you can play background music. It will check the Autoaudio or Automp3 folder on the root folder of current partition. If it plays background music, the large picture files may not seen due to the resource shortage. So if you want to see large files, you should not play background music. With background music, the supported maximum size is 3072 * 2048. Support browsing by icon mode Make a empty file named as "icon. tvix" on the folder that you want to browse by icon. The file name for the file used for the icon files is case sensitive, it must be the exact same name as the media file except that the extension must be jpg or png(if you want to use transparency, set the transparency color as 0xC8C8C8. ) To show the folder as icon, please put "folder. jpg" or "folder. png" on the folder. The maximum icon size is 720 * 480, and the best size is 100 * 136. 37 6. 3 Extra Features 6. 3. 1 Using the AutoRun Function When you want to play music with the TViX HD but do not have any display devices, the following function may come in handy. Make a folder and name it, "autorun" in the root directory of the First partition. 2. Copy media file(s) or make a sub-folder in the "autorun" folder. 3. If you want to change the setup, push the SETUP button on the remote control. After setting the configuration, turn off the TViX HD and then turn it on again. The TViX HD will play the media file from the first sub-folder under `/HDD1/autorun'. <NOTE> TViX HD will play files in the sub-folders first and then it will play the files in `/HDD1/autorun'. After the TViX HD plays all the media files, it will be repeated again from the beginning. 38 6. 3. 2 Using Wallpaper If you put a JEPG file named "TViX. jpg" under the folder which you want to change the wallpaper, the wallpaper of the folder will be changed. You can select any wallpaper you want by using the various JPEG files of different folders. <Tips> If you want to change the basic wallpaper, put a JPEG file named tvix. jpg under the Root directory. 720*480 pixel is recommended for the size of the wallpaper. In Windows XP, when you name the JPEG file, "Hide extensions for known file types" should be unchecked in the Tool-Folder Option-View-File/Folder. Otherwise the JPEG file could be named as tvix . jpg. JPG and you would not be able to see your desired wallpaper. 39 6. 3. 3 Playing Background Music while Watching Picture Slideshows (1) Make an autojpg folder in the HDD of TViX HD and copy image files. (2) While users are watching the picture slideshow, the MP3 files can be played as background music. You can select another file in there. TIPS * If the SHUFFLE button is pressed after you have begun playing MP3 files with the "Play" button, only MP3 files will play in shuffle play mode. * Slideshow delay time can be adjusted in the setup menu (press the "setup" button on your remote control) * You can stop/start the slide show using the REPEAT button. . Slide once : It will stop after showing all files on the current folder Slide off : It will show the current picture and stop.
