[. . . ] Using the microphone on your computer allows you to speak to anyone near the camera. Enable Microphone: Check this to enable the camera's built-in microphone so that the you can receive audio along with the video from the camera. Volume: Adjusts the volume of the audio coming from the microphone of the camera enabled above. After making any changes, click the Save Settings button to save your changes, or click the Don't Save Settings button to discard your changes. Click the OK button to save and activate your settings. Image Setup Brightness: Adjusts the level of the video brightness. Increasing the value will increase the boldness of the Hue: Adjusts the video level of hue which will spectrally shift the colors up or down. A higher value increases the definition of between dark and bright objects. Frequency: Select either 50Hz or 60Hz to match the frequency of the monitor scan rate. Flip: Check this to rotate the video 180 degrees on the vertical axis. Mirror Check this to rotate the video 180 degress on the horizontal axis. This is normall used when the camera is mounted upside down on a ceiling. B/W: Check this to transmit the video in Black and White format. 42 TV-IP612P/WN (Wireless N) Pan/Tilt/Zoom Internet Camera Advance Image Settings Auto Gain Control: When the level of input luminance is too dark, setting the AGC to high will automatically increase the image brightness. Back Light Compensation: When the background of the input image is too bright, use the BLC function to make the objects in the image clearer. 2D Noise Reduction: When you increase the gain, noise in the image is also amplified. Use the 2D Noise Reduction to reduce the gain of the image noise. 3D Noise Reduction: Use this function to provide both temporal and spatial domain noise reduction. This type of noise reduction is very effective against random and Gaussian noise such as for example video images suffering from RF signal noise. Preferred Mode: · · · Select Aperture-preferred to have the camera image set based on the camera's aperture settings and the shutter speed selected automatically. Select Shutter-preferred to have the camera image settings be based on the selected shutter speed and the aperture set automatically. Select Manual to have the camera image settings based on manual setup of both aperture and shutter speed settings. Iris Mode: In Aperture-preferred or Manual mode this field shows manual therefore the Iris Value field must be used to adjust the video image. In Shutter-preferred mode the Iris Mode changes to Auto and the Iris is adjusted automatically. Iris Value: Use this pull-down menu to select an aperture setting in percent when the Auto Iris setting is set to Manual. Sens Up: When the luminance level of the input image is too dark, the Sens Up function can compensate for this either automatically. Select Auto for Automatic Sens Up compensation and adjust the Sens Up compensation by using the Sens Up Value pull down menu item below. Note the preferred-mode must be in Aperture-preferred to adjust Sens-up. Sens Up Value: If Sens Up is set to Auto use this setting to adjust the value of the Sens Up compensation. 43 TV-IP612P/WN (Wireless N) Pan/Tilt/Zoom Internet Camera Shutter Mode (Shutter-preferred) · · · Select Auto to have the camera shutter-speed be automatically set. Select Manual to adjust the shutter-speed of the camera using the Shutter Value settings in the below pull-down menu Select Anti-Flicker to remove the flicker caused by indoor lighting of the image. Shutter Value: Select the desired shutter speed (in seconds) of the camera when the Shutter Mode setting is set to Manual. White Balance: Adjust the level of White Balance so that white objects in the image appear with the correct white color. · · · Select Manual to use the Red and Blue Offset adjustment settings to the right. Select Indoor to automatically adjust the White Balance for indoor imaging.
