This encryption mode is designed for home and small business users to secure their wireless connection without using network authentication servers. In order to use this mode the user will need to type the WPA-PSK/ WPS-PSK2 password of their Wireless LAN in the Preshared key field. · 44 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera Advanced Setting Use the Advanced Setting menu to configure the Camera's advanced settings. Advanced Setting menu · · Beacon Interval: Type a value to define the time interval between two beacons being sent. Preamble: A preamble is a signal used in a wireless environment to synchronize the transmitting time, including Synchronization and Start frame delimiter. Please NOTE that before changing the Preamble type to Long or Short, check the access point settings. 45 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera Network Settings Click the Network Setup link to view menus for IP network settings, PPPoE configuration, DDNS, HTTP port configuration and UPnP configuration. Network Setup menus 46 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera TCP/IP · IP Address Mode: Click a radio button to define the IP Address Mode: Fixed IP You can select this option and enter the IP address directly. The default settings are: · · · Dynamic Address (DHCP) IP Address ­ 192. 168. 10. 30 Subnet Mask ­ 255. 255. 255. 0 Default Gateway ­ 0. 0. 0. 0 If your network uses a DHCP server, select this option. According to this setting, the Camera will be assigned an IP address from the DHCP server automatically. If choosing this option please ensure that your DHCP Server is set to assign the Camera a Static IP address every time your Camera starts up. If your application requires a direct connection from an ADSL modem through the Camera's RJ-45 LAN port, click this option and enter the User ID and Password in the respective fields. (You should have an ISP PPPoE account. ) The Camera will then be issued an IP address from the ISP as it starts up. PPPoE · DNS IP Address: A DNS (Domain Name System) Server is an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Dynamic DNS: Choose whether to Enable or Disable Dynamic DNS by clicking the respective radio button. The Dynamic DNS service allows you to alias a dynamic IP address to a static hostname in any domain, allowing your Camera to be accessed more easily from various locations on the Internet. Second HTTP Port: Some networks are configured to use a different port than the default port number of 80 for HTTP traffic. If your network uses a different port than 80 for HTTP communication, click the Enable radio button and type the port number used for HTTP communication on your network in the Port Number field. UPnP: UPnP is a pervasive peer-to-peer architecture type used for the network connectivity of intelligent appliances and PCs of all form factors. Click the Enable radio button to enable this function on your Camera. · · · 47 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera User Use the User menus to add, edit and delete users for your camera. User menu User Access Control The Administrator has the authority to create additional users on the Camera and the privileges they have when accessing the Camera with the management software. User Access Control menu · Access Control: Click the Enable radio button to enable additional users to be created on the Camera. 48 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera Define Users Use this section to add new users and define the privileges of the new user. Define Users menu · Add User: Type a name for the new user in the User Name field, a password in the Password field. Click the Yes radio button to allow the new user to use the Camera's PanTilt Controls and to be able to upload e-mail images. Delete User Use this section to delete existing users. Delete User menu · · Delete User: Use this drop-down menu to select the user you want to delete and click the Delete button. User List: This list displays the current users setup on your Camera. 49 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera Date/Time Use the Date/Time menu to set the Camera's time settings Date/Time menu Date/Time Setting Use the radio buttons to specify if the Camera should set its time using a time server or if the time or be setup manually, · Synchronized with Time Server: Selecting this option will set time using an NTP Server. The following parameters need to be configured when choosing the Synchronized with Time Server option: IP Address Protocol TimeZone Enter the IP Address of the Time Server in this field. Click a radio button to specify if the Time Server you are connecting to uses the NTP or Time protocol. Select the time zone for the region you are located in from the dropdown menu. · Set Manually: Select this option to enter the time manually. To synchronize the Camera time with the time set on your computer, tick the Synchronized with Computer Time checkbox. 50 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera Upload Use the Upload menu to setup the configuration for the FTP Server, schedule FTP Server Uploads and configure manual FTP Server Uploads. Upload menu 51 TV-IP600/W Wireless Network Camera FTP Server Use this section to configure the basic settings of your FTP server. FTP Server menu · · Host Address: Use this field to type the IP address of the target FTP server. [. . . ] The video images might be noisy if the Camera is used in a very low light environment. To solve this issue you will need to increase the level of light in the Camera's location. There could be interference from other wireless devices on the network that are affecting the wireless transmission. A probable cause might be an incorrect property display configuration for your desktop. [. . . ]
