INTRODUCTION EO1-12026 1. 1 APPLICABLE MODEL 1. INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing the TEC ST-60 Series POS Terminal. This POS Terminal contains all the high performance register functions necessary for a specialty store POS terminal and enables the user oriented system configuration. By adopting a high-speed CPU (AMD-K6® 266MHz, AMD-K6®-2 333MHz, or Intel® Celeron® 566MHz) and memory with large capacity, this POS Terminal flexibly accepts the modification corresponding to the future system environment as the user expects. This manual describes the functions and handling of this POS terminal and should be read carefully to help gain maximum performance and life from your POS terminal. Used to set HDD's Master/Slave status when the second HDD is connected to the ST-60. Attached to the Drawer Cable when the option Drawer is connected to the ST-60. (A and B models only) Attached to the Drawer Cable when the option Drawer is connected to the ST-60. (C model only) Attached to the Speaker Cable when the Speaker is connected to the ST-60. These card readers read track 1 and 2 (MCRST-60-3-QM) or track 1, 2 and 3 (MCRST-60-5-QM) magnetic cards which comply with ISO1. 7. 1 HOW TO READ MAGNETIC CARD Insert the magnetic card into the upper portion of the magnetic card reader slot and move the card downward slowly.
