CD : You can use this function with Audio CDs and CD-R/RW CDs. OPEN/CLOSE PAUSE STOP PLAY To pause playback (still mode) Press PAUSE during playback. Remove the disc after the disc tray opens completely. Basic playback Be sure to press OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray after you remove the disc. To obtain a higher quality picture Occasionally, some picture noise not usually visible during a normal broadcast may appear on the TV screen while playing a DVD video disc because the high resolution pictures on these discs include a lot of information. Press REV or FF during playback. REV: Fast reverse playback FF: Fast forward playback Each time you press REV or FF, the playback speed changes. Notes: The TV/DVD mutes sound during reverse and forward scan of DVD/VCD video discs. However, the TV/DVD plays sound during fast forward or fast reverse play of audio CDs. The playback speed may differ depending on the disc. DVD VCD Playing frame by frame To resume normal playback Press PLAY. Press PAUSE during still playback. Each time you press PAUSE, the picture advances one frame. Note: The sound is muted during frame by frame playback. DVD VCD Playing in slow-motion To resume normal playback during playback. Each time you press SLOW , the slow-motion speed changes. Note: The sound is muted during slow-motion playback. Press SLOW Press PLAY. DVD VCD CD Locating a chapter or track Press SKIP or repeatedly to display the chapter or track number you want. Playback starts from the selected chapter or track. Playback starts from the beginning of the current chapter or track. Note: When you press twice in quick successions, Press and hold SKIP on the unit during playback to play fast forward or fast reverse.
