You can access the menus using the buttons on the TV or remote control. Preparation MENU TV / VIDEO VOLUME CHANNEL The following are general instructions for using the menu system: 1 POWER Repeatedly press MENU to select a menu (Picture, Audio, Setup, or Option, as shown below). The menus automatically disappear from the screen if no adjustments are made within 15 seconds. Model CF19F22 does not have PIP features. 14 First-time operation VOLUME T/S Set up Turning the TV set on 1 MENU TV / VIDEO VOLUME CHANNEL Set the TV/CABLE/VCR switch on the remote control to TV. The selected source will be displayed in purple. STILL SOURCE SLOW PAUSE REW PIP CH LOCATE SWAP About the DEMO (demonstration) mode When the DEMO mode is activated, your TV automatically displays a variety of its on-screen menus and special features. (This feature functions only when the Closed Caption mode is set to OFF. ) Advanced Operation STILL SOURCE SLOW PAUSE REW PIP CH LOCATE SWAP Changing quickly between two channels The CH RTN function allows you to switch back and forth between the current and previous channels without entering the channel number each time. Reference Section To operate the CH RTN function: 1 2 3 Select the first channel you want to view. The previous channel will return. (Current channel) 4 CH RTN (Previous channel) 6 Each time you press CH RTN, the TV will switch back and forth between the two channels. 19 Set up Adjusting the picture You can adjust the picture quality (CONTRAST, BRIGHTNESS, SHARPNESS, COLOR and TINT) to suit your taste. Limited Two (2) Year Warranty of Picture Tube TACP and THI further warrant the picture tube in this product against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two (2) years after the date of original retail purchase. During this period, TACP and THI will repair or replace a defective picture tube at their option, with a new or refurbished picture tube, without charge to you, except that, if a defective picture tube is replaced after one (1) year from the date of the original retail purchase, you pay labor charges involved in the replacement.
