When the safety lock is enabled, only a few buttons and features are available while you are driving. When you are stationary, all the buttons and features are available. Keep to the speed limit To help you keep to the speed limit, your TomTom can tell you the speed limit for the road you are on. Mark `visited' Mark as waypoint Mark as destination It will navigate you to the next item in the Itinerary. This button is only shown if you are still due to visit this item. 33 Tap this button to repeat part of your Itinerary. Your TomTom will navigate you to this item followed by the rest of the items in the Itinerary. Mark `to visit' This button is only shown if you have already visited this item. This button is unavailable if the item is at the top of the Itinerary. Move item up Tap this button to move the item down the Itinerary. Show on map Delete item Start using an Itinerary Tap Options, then tap Start navigation. Once you have created an Itinerary, it's a good idea to save it. Hands-free calling Hands-free calling If you have a mobile phone with Bluetooth®, you can use your TomTom to make phone calls and send and receive messages while you are driving. Your TomTom must be docked in your car stereo to make hands-free calls. For more information, visit www. tomtom. com/phones Connecting to your phone First you must establish a connection between your mobile phone and your TomTom. Tap Mobile phone in the Main Menu, then follow the instructions on the screen. Setting up TomTom PLUS After you have established a connection with your phone, you can set up a wireless data connection for TomTom PLUS services. When the display on your car stereo is dimmed, night colours are used. To manually control the brightness of the screen, select not to link the night view to the dimmer setting in the Docking preferences in the Preferences menu. When it's dark outside, it's easier to see the screen of your TomTom if it isn't so bright. To change back to a brighter screen and brighter colours on the map, tap the button Use day colours. To find a category of POI quickly, tap Find, then start to type the name of the POI category.
