All other nationally and internationally recognized trademarks and brand names are hereby acknowledged. [. . . ] Ensure that fluorescent lamps do not reflect on the screen, or turn them off. Position yourself directly in front of the screen, about 2 meters away (just over 2 yards). If you are positioned to the side, the increased angle will reduce your lightgun’s sensitivity. If some areas of your screen do not register shots, adjust the screen’s alignment (if the game allows it), then recalibrate the lightgun using the game’s calibration option. Some incompatibilities may arise when using a TV with the following specifications: 100Hz; LCD or similar; screen size less than 25cm; projection screen; PAL Plus standard. Für

GUN INSTALLATION
Guncon 1 or Normal mode games on PlayStation®, PS one™ or PlayStation® 2: Connect the gun’s standard connector (12) to port 1 at the front of your console. If your TV set is equipped with a composite video input, connect the yellow composite video connector (13) (RCA format) directly; if not, use an appropriate composite converter (RGB, SCART or SVHS, depending on your configuration). For Guncon games, set the mode selection switch (2) to the GunCon position before turning on your console; for all other games (except Guncon 2 games), set it to Normal. Guncon 2 games on PlayStation® 2: Follow the directions above, with these exceptions: connect the USB connector (14) to the upper USB port (console in horizontal position) after connecting the standard connector (12); and set the mode selection switch (2) to the GunCon 2 position before turning on your console.
