The TerraTec SpeakerMaster USB is a carefully tuned 2-way speaker system with a superb frequency response of 50 to 20, 000 Hz for an extremely pleasant, realistic audio quality. With a peak output of 480 watts PMPO, this system delivers more punch than many an upmarket hifi system and provides solid sound for any application. The actual innovations can be found in the details, however: as the audio data is transferred to the speakers digitally and doesn't undergo D/A conversion until just before it reaches the speaker membrane, the audio playback is absolutely free of the noise typically generated by the internal components of the PC. The adjustable, three-level 3D effect provides a substantial subjective improvement of the audio quality in a variety of applications: Music Mode enhances the spatial impression of music and voice playback for a more dynamic sound. All mono signals benefit from the stereo impression created by the Simulation Mode. The Cinema Mode is similar to the Surround sound process and produces an impressive depth of sound, especially with stereo signals. As sound quality is always a purely subjective experience, the "Speaker Master USB" is equipped with treble and bass controls to adapt the playback to your tastes.
