The electronic program guide helps you accurately navigate through the large number of stations and activate your recording timer. The solution is called time shifting, which saves the part you miss on the hard disk. The perfect solution for all series fans or movie collectors is the built-in digital video recorder. Program a recording or simply press the record button while the program is underway--the program is saved to your hard drive in DVD quality (MPEG 2). Now you can quickly edit out the commercials from your recording and burn the final product to CD or DVD--all in one convenient working interface. It's just as easy to connect a video recorder or DVD player to the analog video inputs (composite, S-video) of the Cinergy PCMCIA express. This allows you to, for example, digitize your old family videos or create a legal backup copy of your newly purchased DVD movie.
