[. . . ] Dear Pilot, You have acquired either an Adventure paramotor Funflyer Bi (motor unit + canopy), or just the Adventure motor unit for your existing paraglider. Adventure is the paramotor world’s leading equipment, and you have made the right choice. If you have purchased an Adventure wing with your unit, you can rest assured that you can fly in total securi ty wi th a superb set of equipment. Adventure manufactures paragliders which are most suitable for paramotor use : the Premium 2 , a reference for single seat paramotoring and the Xpresso Bi for a use on tandem seat or single seat; The special risers were designed to inflate the canopy easily, and to increase cruise speed while minimising torque effects for straight and level flight. [. . . ] FIBER GLASS BAR AND BACK WHEEL Standard version Insert the fiber glass bar fixing the back wheels in to the low chassis frame (FUNBI129). Engine mast (FUNBI127) Assemble the mast on the low chassis frame (FUNBI129). Tight the 2 assembly screw and the blocking screw for engine mast and it’s nut. Take the line in the middle of the twi ce ring (FUN107), put it around the s trut (F UN142) and make a strong tension on the line by the way of the ring F UN130. Maintain the tension and rolled a maximum turns all around this stru t and placed the ring FUN140 on the strut F UN142 located on the opposite side of the fixation. If the net isn ’t tight enough, do the tension again on the side of the cage you do first. Riser Bar (FUNBI102D&G) The riser bars are fixed on upper parts to the engine mast (FUNBI127) and on lower part to the tandem draw bar (FUNBI212) under the passenger seat. One rivet is fixed on each side of each riser bar for an easy pre-flight check. Using any other battery involves the cancellation of the warranty on the paramotor. It is strictly forbidden to disconnect the battery from the paramotor when the engine runs; this would definitely damage the high tension coil. Warning : always plug and unplug the battery with main switch on OFF position. All bolts, nuts, cables etc have been tightened to the correct torque setting or secured with threadlocker. The position of all nuts and bolts was marked with a spot of red paint: any loosening can thus be immedi ately detected during your pr e-fligth check. You will then be sure that your paramotor is perfectly safe and fit to fly. STARTING PREPARATION Run through the check list (see last page of this manual). USE OF THE 12V LEAD BATTERY The use of the Adventure 12V lead battery is compulsory for the Funflyer Bi ignition.
