Guitar connection
ConnectaguitarusingeithertheHIGHorLOWjackin theINPUTsection. Theinputimpedanceofthetwojacksisdifferent. The HIGH jack is 6. 8 M, and the LOW jack is 68 k. Whendirectlyconnectingelectricguitarswithpassive pickups, werecommendthatyouusetheHIGHjack sincesuchguitarsusuallyhavehighoutputimpedance. Twoguitarscanbeconnectedsimultaneously.

Choosing the channel

Adjusting the volume and tone quality
Thecleanandoverdrivechannelshavethesametypes ofcontrolknobs. AdjustthevolumeofeachchannelwithitsGAINand

ChoosethecleanchannelandsettheGAINknoblow foranundistortedsound. [. . . ] When it is turned ON again, the previously made settings will be applied to playback again.

7 Tuner, oscillator and metronome
Using the tuner
TheGA-100CDhasabuilt-inguitartunerwith2modes chromaticmodeandguitarmode. Inchromaticmode (thedefaultsetting), theGA-100CDautomatically detectstheinputsignalpitch. Guitarmodehelpsyou tunestringstostandardguitartuning. (See"Changing settings"onpage21fordetailsonsettingthetuner modeandsoundoutput. )
Calibrating the tuning frequency
Thestandardtuningfrequency(A4)canbeadjusted. CAL appears on the LCD.
3 Press OSC/CAL or ESC to finish calibration and return to time display.
2 Press the and keys to adjust the standard tuning frequency from 435 Hz to 445 Hz. Press the key to restore the default setting of 440 Hz.
Tuning in chromatic mode
1 Connect a guitar and press TUNER. TUNERappears on the LCD along with the tuning meter shown to the right. [. . . ]
