Manual abstract: user guide TAG HEUER MICROTIMER

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] TAG Heuer has become the official timer of the world's most prestigious sporting events, which require accuracy of up to 1/1000th of a second and is now world leader in the sports watch sector. Each TAG Heuer timepiece is created to satisfy the most rigorous requirements. The materials we use make our watches exceptionally robust, even when used in the roughest conditions. Before it is launched, every new product must successfully pass more than 60 precision and quality tests. Your TAG Heuer has also been individually tested to guarantee its water-resistance and perfect working order. [. . . ] Its life span varies from 2 to 3 years, depending on the intensity of use of the various functions (in particular, audible alarms and backlight). When the battery is reaching the end of its useful life, the two digits "BT" located at the bottom right will flash. Your TAG Heuer retailer must change it as soon as possible. This Microtimer has 4 push buttons: A, B, C and D (fig. 1), whose functions differ according to the chosen mode and the way the wearer presses on the push button. Two types of pressure can be applied: - Short pressure or - Long pressure (> 2 seconds) fig. 1 7 Display modes This Microtimer features six different modes: > > > > > > T1 mode: AL mode: F1 mode: BEST LPmode: Ch mode: T2 mode: Hour and main date Alarm clock F1 timing Best lap (LP = LAP) - the wearer can consult the laps in memory Chronograph 2nd time-zone Details of the modes and functions of the push buttons T1 mode Displays the hour (hour-minute-second) and main date (day of the month; day of the week). To time one lap only, the wearer must start with A, put A in memory and then stop the timing with B. 7 Main F1 mode 11 time This mode enables the wearer to time, for example, several laps (80 laps maximum) of an F1 race. The different lap times are memorized and can then be consulted in "BEST LP (Best Lap) mode". The timing of a lap can be interrupted and the timing operation restarted without losing information about the previous laps. [. . . ] This mode allows for traditional timekeeping (up to 99 hours 59 mins and 59 secs, and 999 thousandths). Single timing or addition of several timings with automatic calculation of intermediate stops. A short pressure = START - STOP - RESTART B long pressure = timing reset when stopped.
