INFORMATION on Screen Ratio and Display Mode For standard 4:3 TVs displaying widescreen 16:9 broadcasts, your choices are:
4:3 TV screen
16:9 broadcast
Letter Box Displays the entire picture image while fitting the picture to the screen by applying gray bars to the top and bottom of the screen. Zoom Expands the picture image to fill the screen while cropping some images on the left and right. Full Displays the entire picture image while fitting the picture to the screen by stretching the image vertically, so that it fills the screen. No information will be lost, but there may be a slight distortion of the picture. For widescreen 16:9 TVs displaying standard 4:3 broadcasts, your choices are:
16:9 TV screen
4:3 broadcast
Sidebar Displays the entire picture centering the image by applying gray bars to the left and right sides of the screen. Zoom Expands the picture image to fill the screen while cropping some images on the top and bottom. Full Displays the entire picture image while fitting the picture to the screen by stretching the image horizontally, so that it fills the screen. No information will be lost, but there may be a slight distortion of the picture.

Setting the clock
To get the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) and Channel banner, you will need to set the CLOCK correctly.
NOTE:
1 Press SETUP to display SETUP menu.

The clock function is necessary to display the EPG so there may be 10 seconds-time lag a day at the maximum. Set Daylight Saving Time (DST) and TIME ZONE before setting the clock. These will be influential when setting the current time.

Adjusting the clock automatically
STB can adjust the clock automatically using clock data included in digital broadcasts. In this menu, STB searches for channels with clock data, then adjusts the clock using the channel you select.

5 Use the navigation buttons o / p to select the channel you want to gather clock data from in the channel map, then press ENTER.
· The time info window appears and the STB starts searching for the time info on the channel you selected.
