Touch ZONE 2 and the outer element zone will be energized to the same power level as the inner zone. A light will remain on under the ZONE 2 touch pad to indicate activation of the outer element zone. Changing the power level setting to the entire dual zone element is done the same as for a single element. Set the power output and complete the activation for the center element zone as described on page 12. Touch ZONE 2 and the center element zone will be energized to the same power level as the inner zone. A light will remain on under the ZONE 2 touch pad to indicate activation of the center element zone. Touch ZONE 3 and the outer element zone will be energized to the same power level as the inner and center element zones. A light will remain on under the ZONE 3 touch pad to indicate activation of the outer element zone. Changing the power level setting to the entire triple zone element is done the same as for a single element. If ZONE 3 is activated directly, ZONE 2 will automatically be energized. Similarly, if all three zones are energized, turning off ZONE 2 will automatically turn off ZONE 3. Apply approximately one teaspoon of nonabrasive cleaner such as Elco Cook Top Cleaning Creme, to the surface of the glass ceramic with a lightly dampened clean cloth. Wipe the cooktop surface with a dry cloth to completely eliminate any remaining moisture. Be careful not to wipe or clean any hot areas to avoid personal injury. It will be safe to clean each element area whenever the corresponding hot surface indicator light has gone out. Use the razor blade scraper provided with the cooktop to gently scrape off any burned-on substances. Remove any remaining residue using the cleaning method described above. C O O K TO P F R A M E ( F R A M E D M O D E L S ) For general cleaning after each use, apply a nonabrasive cleaner to the stainless steel cooktop frame and gently wipe with a clean towel or cloth. Be sure to remove any cleaner residue from the frame and glass ceramic surface before using the cooktop. Pitting of the glass ceramic is possible if spills with a high sugar content are left in the hot zone. Use the razor provided to move the spill to a cool area for cleaning after the cooktop cools. 14 W O L F E L E C T R I C C O O K TO P U S E & C A R E C O O K WA R E S E L E C T I O N Cooktops with a glass ceramic surface do not require special pots and pans; however, cookware will affect the overall heating efficiency. For best results, we recommend medium to heavy gauge metal cookware with flat, thick and smooth bottoms and a goodfitting cover.
