NOTE: You will need to allow some time for product to cool down sufficiently enough to produce ice. When the arm is down, it signals the icemaker that the ice supply is low and the icemaker automatically starts and replenishes the ice bucket. It will shut off automatically when the bucket is filled. The first time the icemaker operates, allow a few days for the bucket to fill. You might notice the first few crescents of ice are discolored. This is probably due to the new plumbing connection, and you should discard the first 3 dumps of ice. Ice, if kept over a period of time will stick together and crescents will shrink. (See Illustration 1. ) U N PA C K I N G T H E S U B - Z E R O Step 5: Unpack the unit, remove the unit shipping carton. Remove the wood base by extracting all 4 levelers and then discard the wood base. Next, prelevel the unit by adjusting the leveler legs prior to pushing unit back into the installation. WARNING Keep door(s) and drawer(s) taped closed while moving unit. Illus. 1 7 200 SERIES C O M P L E T I N G T H E I N S TA L L AT I O N CAUTION Protect any finished flooring before moving the unit in place. If for any reason the unit has been laid on its back or side, for over a hour, you must allow the unit to stand upright for a minimum of 24 hours before connecting power. Adjust both the front and rear levelers by turning the levelers clockwise - to raise the unit, counterclockwise - to lower the unit. When the unit is leveled properly, or squared off, door adjustments are less likely to be necessary. (See Figure 3. ) IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to reference leveling of the unit to the floor and not to surrounding cabinetry. This could effect the operation of the unit, such as door(s) not closing properly. Step 10: After the unit has been leveled, install the kickplate as shown in illustration 2. Step 8: To complete the installation, first shut off power to the wall outlet. Remove the 1/4" compression fitting from its plastic bag and join the water supply line to the solenoid valve. CAUTION IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure to purge the water line prior to hooking up the water valve. Do not block the kickplate louvers with carpeting, baseboard or other materials. This will cause poor operation or product failure. IMPORTANT NOTE: Turn on the water supply and check all fittings for leaks. In areas with water of high mineral content, the use of an in-line water filter is recommended. Make sure the filter is positioned and accessible for replacement when necessary. IMPORTANT NOTE: Let your customer know that the ice maker will not fill with water immediately, and that the first three batches of ice produced should be discarded. [. . . ] DOOR SWING CHANGE Model 245: Upper; interchange hinge, screws and corner cap with hole plugs and corner cap on opposite side of cabinet and door. Lower; interchange hinge and screws with hole plugs on opposite side of cabinet. Move closer cam, screw and cam support plate to opposite side of door. 7 10 200 SERIES C H E C K I N G T H E R E S U LT S That's it. [. . . ]
