[. . . ] 2 Close the cover and pull the levers on each side of the port replicator to disconnect the computer from the port replicator. 3 4 Lift the notebook away from the port replicator. Close the port replicator connector cover on the bottom of your computer. It is extremely important to close the port replicator connector cover after removing your computer from the port replicator. If the cover is left open, dust may get inside and damage the computer. To disconnect your port replicator completely from the mains voltage, unplug the AC adapter. To remove a USB floppy disk drive, proceed as follows: If your computer is on, wait until the floppy drive LED indicator turns off and then unplug the USB cable.
