[. . . ] Tapes recorded with the REC TIME/ PLAY MODE switch in the DOUBLE position cannot be played properly on a tape recorder without the REC TIME/PLAY MODE switch function. ⷠConnect the AC power adaptor to an easily accessible AC outlet. [. . . ] If the sound is too soft, on the contrary, the unit will not start recording. Set it to H (high) or L (low) so that the system will pick up the necessary sound only. ⷠThe VOR system may not record the beginning of the sound you want to record because it starts recording only after it catches the sound. We do not recommend the use of tapes longer than 90 minutes except for a long continuous recording or playback. If you have any questions or problems concerning your unit, please consult your nearest Sony dealer. Use the unit away from radiowave-emitting devices such as cellular phones.
