To listen to music through headphones connected to the receiver
Sound field Headphone (2ch) Effect This mode is selected automatically if you use headphones when "2ch Stereo" mode or A. F. D. Standard 2 channel stereo sources completely bypass the sound field processing and multi-channel surround formats are downmixed to 2 channels. This mode is selected automatically when you use headphones when sound field is selected for movie/music. It allows you to experience a theater-like environment while listening through a pair of headphones. Outputs the analog signals without processing by the tone, sound field, etc. This mode is selected automatically if you use headphones when the multichannel input is selected. Outputs the front analog signals from the MULTI CHANNEL INPUT jacks.

· The sound fields for music do not work when the multi-channel input is selected. · The sound fields for music do not work when DTSHD signals with a sampling frequency of higher than 48 kHz are being received. · The sound fields for music do not work when Dolby TrueHD signals with a sampling frequency of higher than 96 kHz are being received. · If you set up the sound field during DTS 96/24 signal reception, the signal will be played back only at 48 kHz. Use an IR repeater when you install the receiver in a place where signals from the remote cannot reach.

Making a zone 2 configuration using ZONE 2 VIDEO OUT (RJ45 jack)
ZONE 2 VIDEO OUT (RJ45 jack) is used only for custom installation by a qualified person. ZONE 2 VIDEO OUT (RJ45 jack) is a jack that sends a source video signal to the component video input for zone 2. Note
This jack is not for an Ethernet LAN connection.

5 Setting the speakers in zone 2
When the speakers in zone 2 are connected to the SURROUND BACK SPEAKERS terminals of the receiver (page 89), make the setting so that the sound selected in zone 2 is output from the speakers connected to the SURROUND BACK SPEAKERS terminals.
Press V/v to select "Speaker Pattern, " to select the pattern that has no surround back speakers. Press V/v repeatedly to select "Sur Back Assign, " then press . Press V/v to select "ZONE2, " then press .

Change the input of the receiver to HDMI when you want to watch a program on a component connected to the receiver.
