SonyEricsson. com/support Before you start To be able to use the functions supplied by the Sony Ericsson PC Suite software you need to have the following: · Your phone with a subscription. · A computer that meets the system requirements % 4 System requirements. System requirements The Sony Ericsson PC Suite for your phone series is designed to work with Windows 2000 (SP3/SP4). The general system requirements are: At least 400 MB free hard disk space. · Windows XP (Home and Professional) with SP1 or SP2: 128 MB RAM, 300 MHz. 4 August 2005 Getting started USB connection Install the PC Suite software The Sony Ericsson Communication Center provides the possibility to create networking connections on your computer. The Communication Center software is included in the PC Suite that you find on the CD that comes with your phone. You can also go to www. SonyEricsson. com/support to download the PC Suite. Before installation: Uninstall any applications on your computer previously used to communicate with mobile phones, such as synchronization software. Install from the CD To install PC Suite from the CD 1. and type in D:/start. exe and click OK (D: is the CD drive letter on the system). InstallShield Wizard: Read and accept the licence agreement, then click Next. - or - Download from the Web and install To download the latest version of the PC Suite software 1. InstallShield Wizard: Read and accept the licence agreement, then click Next. InstallShield Wizard: Click Finish to exit the wizard. 5 August 2005 Getting started USB connection Using the PC Suite The PC Suite gives you access to the following applications: Installed by default: - Synch manager. Requires separate installation from the CD or the Web: - Sony Disc2Phone. - Adobe Photoshop Album SE. Applications in File transfer When connecting your phone to a computer in File transfer the PC Suite gives you the possibility to use the applications marked with orange squares. The following applications are available from PC Suite in File transfer: · Sony Disc2Phone. When your phone is connected to a computer in File transfer the phone appears as a Removable Disk in Windows Explorer. Use drag-and-drop functionality to transfer files between the phone memory and your computer. 6 August 2005 Getting started USB connection Applications in Phone mode When connecting your phone to a computer in Phone mode the PC Suite gives you the possibility to use the applications marked with green squares.
