Front Panel RJ-45 Ports This switch features 24 10/100BASE-TX ports with RJ-45 connectors located on the front panel of the switch. Because all ports support automatic MDI/MDI-X operation, you can use straight-through cables for all network connections to PCs or servers, or to other switches or hubs. 1 Introduction 1000BASE-T Ports The two 1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports operate at 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps, half or full duplex, or at 1000 Mbps, full duplex. Because these ports support automatic MDI/MDI-X operation, you can use straight-through cables for all network connections to PCs or servers, or to other switches or hubs. LED Status Indicators The front panel of the switch provides status LEDs for "at-a-glance" system monitoring. The following table details the functions of the various indicators. When the corresponding Link/Act LED is on, indicates the port is operating at 10 Mbps. " If any of the items are missing or damaged, contact your local distributor. Also be sure you have all the necessary tools and cabling before installing the switch.
