[. . . ] [. . . ] Fully auto-configurable upon power-up, they support early receive and transmit interrupt to eliminate typical I/O bottlenecks, and feature bus-master architecture to increase data throughput and minimize CPU utilization. This EZ Card provides dual-access modes, and is equipped to transfer data at both 10 and 100 Mbps, automatically sensing the speed of the attached device. The full-duplex feature allows simultaneous transmission and reception on a twisted-pair cable when coupled with a full-duplex Ethernet switch, which effectively doubles the bandwidth.
