Using the small screwdriver and brush/needle insertion tool, remove the right needle. Following the diagrams in your owner's manual, thread the serger for a wide 3-thread overlock stitch. Trim and mount the sample.

Using the small screwdriver and brush/needle insertion tool, loosen the right needle screw and insert the right needle. Hint: Place the point of the needle directly above the right needle space of the presser foot, then lift the needle up to place the shank in the correct hole. Following the diagrams in your owner's manual, thread the serger for a narrow 3-thread overlock stitch. Trim and mount the sample.

Following the instructions in your owner's manual, thread the serger for chain stitch, threading the 3 strands of Isacord embroidery thread together, treating them as one thread. Use a lower looper threader or dental floss threader to thread them through the eye of the looper. Place the denim right side down under the presser foot; the stabilizer will be on top. [. . . ]
