[. . . ] - Check that the distance between the throat plate and the most receded position of the feed dog at stitch length 4 is (MO-735) 1 mm (B) and (MO734DE) 3 mm. Subfeed the clearance between the main feed dog and the sub-feed dog is 1. - At the most receded position of the feed dog perform adjustment so that the clearance is (MO-735) 1 mm (B) and (MO734DE) 3 mm (B) with respect to the slot in the throat plate. Sub-feed, move the sub-feed dog back and forth, to perform adjustment so that the clearance between the main feed dog and the sub-feed dog is to be 1. [. . . ] - Loosen the screw (B) in the lower looper thread guide lever plate (C). - Adjust the lower looper thread guide lever (C) by moving the plate up or down, the right hand needle is approx 1mm above the lower looper at the end position. 1 mm) - Check that the clearance between the needle (1) and the lower looper blade point (2) is 0 to 0. - Turn the handwheel and check that the lower looper blade point (2) meets with the left side of gauge needle (4) when lower looper (3) goes and back. - Move the lower looper support arm (D) back or forth and adjust the clearance between the needle (1) and the lower looper blade point (2). Check the position of the lower looper blade point (2) and the gauge needle (4) while turning the lower looper cam (B). Change the position of the cam little by little so that the left side of gauge needle (4) can meet with the lower looper blade point (2) on both ways of going and back. - Check that the clearance between the projecting part of the lower looper and the blade point of the upper looper is 0. 2 mm (A) when the upper looper goes up and the upper looper blade point meets the lower looper. - Check that the front-to-back clearance between the upper looper blade point and the lower looper is 0. - Check that the clearance between the needles and the front needle guard is 0. - Check that the clearance between the upper knife turning knob and the upper knife holder is 0. 5 mm (A) when the upper knife touches the lower knife at knife position 1. - Check the engagement of the upper knife with the lower knife when the upper knife is in the lowest position. Adjusting the vertical engagement (B): - Set the upper knife in its lowest position. - Loosen the setscrew of the upper knife (D), fix the upper knife holder using a spanner 11 mm. OE Knife arm - Turn the handwheel until the knife arm is at the highest position. 2 mm - Pull the release lever (C) to the front, check if the knife arm is moving free up and down (A). - Turn the eccentric stud (2), left or right until there is less then 0. Remark: Lift the upper knife arm to the highest position, hold it with the finger up, turn the handwheel, check if there is no movement, up/down, of the upper knife arm. - Lift the knife arm up and down, check if there is no bind at the gude plate (A). - Check if the release lever (B) is securely ingaged at the restspring (C) , at the highest position. [. . . ] 5 mm or more is provided between the rear side of the threading hook guide and the front side of the presser foot shank. - Move the threading hook holder (1) back or forth to make adjustment. Push the threading lever down to its lowest position, check that the threading hook passes through the needle eye without interfering with the left or right side of the needle eye, this by the left and right hand needle. - Move the threading oscillating plate (1) left or right to make adjustment.
