Manual abstract: user guide SILVERCREST SRHT 1500 A2 TRAVEL HAIRDRYER

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Make enquiries about the rating of the local electrical mains supply with the energy supplier or with the hotel personnel. First when this has been done insert the plug into a power socket and then switch your travel hair dryer on. Connect the travel hair dryer only to correctly installed mains power sockets with a current rating of 120/230 -240 V at 60/50 Hz. Under no circumstances may the appliance be submersed in fluids or fluids be allowed to permeate the housing. [. . . ] This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiences in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Never lay the travel hair dryer down when it is switched on and never leave a switched on appliance unsupervised. Do not place the appliance close to sources of heat and protect the power cable from damage. The travel hair dryer is only intended for use in drying and shaping human hair and absolutely not for use with wigs and hairpieces made of synthetic material. Pay heed to the information in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions. When drying hair using a "normal" hair dryer, the hair tends to charge itself with static and then begins to "fly". thereby , the positive static charge in the hair is neutralised and voided. Always set the voltage selector on the hairdryer q to the rating of the local electrical power supply, if you do not, the appliance could be damaged. Make enquiries about the rating of the local electrical mains supply with the energy supplier or with the hotel personnel. Fit the styling nozzle i onto the front of the travel hair dryer q: Ensure that the plastic latches on the styling nozzle i grip into the guides on the travel hair dryer q. Turn the styling nozzle i in the other direction and remove it by pulling it to the front if you wish to use a broader stream of air. The travel hair dryer q is fitted with a three-position switch: "0" (Off), "1" (gentle airflow, warm) and "2" (strong airflow, hot). In the event of overheating, the travel hair dryer q automatically switches itself off. For quick-drying of the hair, we recommend a short time at switch position "2", and afterwards switch to position "1" for forming and styling. If you wish to create a cold air stream, press and hold the button "COOL" u. With the supplied styling nozzle i you can accurately direct the air flow for styling. If you wish to dry your hair especially gently, or with so-called "air-dried permanent waves", use the finger diffusor o. For this, remove the styling nozzle i and replace it with the finger diffusor o: Ensure that the plastic latches on the finger diffusor o grip into the guides on the travel hair dryer q. Before you comb out your hair, allow it to cool so that the shaping and styling can retain its form. [. . . ] This product is for private use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch. The warranty period will not be extended by repairs made under warranty. Any damage and defects extant on purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking the appliance, at the latest, two days after the purchase date. [. . . ]
