WARNING A warning of this danger level signifies a possible dangerous situation. Observe the information regarding the setup location requirements as well as the device's electrical connection to avoid personal injury and property damage. The device is delivered with the following components as standard: Transmission unit Transmission unit mains power adapter Speaker (2x) Speaker rechargeable battery power pack (2x) 3. 3 mm jackplug adapter Operating instructions NOTICE Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for visible damage. If the contents are not complete or are damaged due to defective packaging or through transportation, contact the service hotline (see Service). The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable. the recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations. NOTICE If possible preserve the device's original packaging during the warranty period so that in the case of a warranty claim you can package the device properly for return. For safe and trouble free operation of the device the setup location must fulfill the following provisions: The transmission unit and the speakers must be placed on a firm, flat, level surface. Do not place the device in a hot, wet or very damp environment or in the vicinity of flammable materials. The mains power socket must be easily accessible so that the power adapter can be easily disconnected in an emergency. Observe the following electrical connection for safe and failure free operation of the device: Before connecting the power adapter 17 compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) with that on the rating plate of your electric supply. Make sure that the power adapter's 17 connection cable is not damaged and is not laying over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges. The power adapter's 17 connection cable must not be stretched too tight. Plug the connection cable into the DC IN 11 connection and then plug the power adapter 17 into a mains power socket. Plug both of the connection cable's 18 cinch plugs into the audio device's audio output. Plug the connection cable's 20 other jackplug into the audio device's audio output. NOTICE When delivered the rechargeable battery packs are already inserted into the battery compartment. You need only to connect the rechargeable battery pack's connection cable to the speaker. NOTICE Make sure that the removal strap is placed under the rechargeable battery pack in order to make removal of the rechargeable battery pack easier. [. . . ] When using the rechargeable battery pack shift the switch 13 to the position Charge, with other rechargeable battery packs and/or batteries switch to the position Normal. The distance between the speakers and the transmission unit is too great. Poor sound quality, heavy noise NOTICE If you cannot solve the problem with the aforementioned methods please contact customer service. Pull the power adapter out of the mains socket and remove the rechargeable battery packs from the speakers if you do not intend to use the device for an extended period of time. [. . . ]
