[. . . ] 2) Wrap the Black Mastic Tape around the Connector and Metalwork to build a smooth profile. Note:- Extend the Tape onto the Bushing and Heatshrink Insulation by 15mm as indicated in Fig 1. With a suitable heat source, commence shrinking at the back end of the Boot Skirt. Shrink evenly all around the larger diameter Skirt until fully shrunk onto the Bushing, then continue shrinking the Leg to the Core. Note:A) It may be necessary to reposition the Boot whilst hot, in order to ensure it is correctly aligned.
