Connecting AUDIO OUTPUT jacks Connect these jacks to CD (or AUX) INPUT jacks of your amplifier/receiver. Connecting DIGI-LINK jack Connect this jack to the DIGI-LINK jack of Sherwood system amplifier/receiver such an RX-772, etc. (For details, refer to the operating instructions of Sherwood amplifier/receiver. ) § Note : · The DIGI-LINK operation may not work on some Sherwood components. Connecting OPTICAL DIGITAL OUTPUT jack Connect this jack to the OPTICAL DIGITAL INPUT jack of your amplifier/receiver to enjoy live digital sound. § Notes : · It is not recommended to record digital audio signals with digital audio connection between this unit and MD and CD recorder, etc. When recording the sounds played on this unit, record them through the AUDIO OUTPUT jacks. · All of the commercially-available optical fiber cords cannot be used for audio components. If there is an optical fiber cord which cannot be connected to your components, consult your dealer or nearest service organization. AC INPUT Plug the supplied AC input cord into this AC input and then into the wall AC outlet. § Note : · Do not use an AC input cord other than the one supplied with this unit. The AC input cord supplied is designed for use with this unit and should not be used with any other device. 6 Front Panel & Remote Controls Front Panel Controls Remote Controls 7 1. [. . . ] 4. Start program play. · Play starts in the programmed order. 15 Continued § Checking the programmed tracks U the program mode (meaning "PGM" is displayed in the stop mode), press the FORWARD/REVERSE In SEARCH( ) buttons. Each time these buttons are pressed, the programmed tracks are displayed in the programmed order or in the opposite order. § Clearing the programmed tracks U the program mode (meaning "PGM" is displayed in the stop mode), press the PROGRAM button. In Then "PGM" disappears and the programmed tracks are all cleared. U Opening the disc tray clears all programmed tracks. LISTENING TO MUSIC FOR A MORE DETAILED SOUND QUALITY U The remastering processes the audio signal readed from the disc and converts its sampling frequency to 192 kHz for a more detailed sound quality. U turn off the remastering function, press the To REMASTERING button again. [. . . ]
