Fitting the push-on combs The push-on comb attachments allow for cutting length adjustment from 3 to 12 mm. When fitting a push-on comb, ensure that it is safely locked by the two locking buttons on the sides. Operation ■ Before each use, always put a few drops of acid-free oil between the trimming comb and the trimming blade. - Depending on the desired shape or style, either the wide or the small trimming head may be used. - For longer beards, one of the push-on comb attachments can be used together with the wider trimming head. - Always begin at the neck and move the appliance upwards through the beard hair. - For a shaped cut, reverse the appliance and shorten the hair from top to bottom without using the push-on comb. Care and Cleaning ■ It is essential to switch off the appliance and then remove the adapter from the wall socket before cleaning and oiling. – To avoid the risk of electric shock, the appliance and the adapter must not be immersed in liquid or even allowed to come into contact with liquid. - If necessary, the exterior surfaces of the charging base and hair trimmer may be wiped with a dry, lint-free cloth. Trimming comb and trimming blade - After each use, use the cleaning brush to remove hair from between the trimming comb and the blade.
