Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] When cooking food with a high fat or moisture content, splashes are not always avoidable. Do not position the grill next to a wall or corner, and ensure that no inflammable materials are stored near it. Before use, the double-sided grill plate and the grill stone must be placed on top of the appliance over the heating element. [. . . ] grill stone Fit the stone on to the appliance over the Double-sided grill plate With the ribbed side facing upwards, the grill plate can be used for grilling in the normal way. If the thermostat is moved to the left (lower setting), the heating element will switch off from time to time and then switch on again. The yellow indicator light remains lit as long as the heating element is switched on. After use, return the thermostat to its lowest setting and unplug the appliance from the mains supply. Operation - Place the grill stone and the double-sided grill plate on the unit, ensuring that the locating groove on the grill stone is properly secured by the corresponding lugs on the holding bracket. For safe operation, the additional ridge on the grill plate must sit securely in front of the lugs on the holding bracket. - Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket and push the thermostat all the way to the right. Let the appliance preheat for about 10 minutes to reach the required temperature. - Place the food to be cooked on the grill plate or on the stone as required. The grill plate can also be used for preparing crêpes or pancakes. Place the mini-pans in the appliance, under the heating element, and leave them until the cheese has melted. Warning: Do not place empty mini-pans in the appliance while it is switched on. - When grilling is finished, push the thermostat all the way to the left and unplug the appliance from the mains. The stone can be used for cooking vegetables, sliced meat or fish etc. Small cracks resulting from natural expansion and contraction during heating and cooling, as well as a change to a darker colour are normal and have no detrimental effects. Do not place any frozen food or items containing vinegar (such as pickled gherkins or mustard) on the stone. Do not let the appliance remain on for more than 30 minutes unless there is food on the stone. How to prepare raclette cheese Use about 200 to 300 grammes of cheese per person. [. . . ] Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse. This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic items, bulbs etc. [. . . ]
