Use the procedure to take action against the trouble: · Unlock and open the cover. · Unlock the hatch by drawing the green shaft attached to the top cover on the card reader/writer. While drawing the shaft, open the cover up. · Remove the card jammed in the card reader/writer. With the top cover closed, release the green shaft. Check that the top cover has been locked securely. Forcible Cleaning This product memorizes the count you use the card reader/writer. When the power is turned off and on after the count of use exceeds 100, the head cleaning mode is entered while the Check Card Reader/Writer Screen is on-screen after you turn on the power. The head cleaning mode cannot be quitted for being ready for starting the game unless the head cleaning is completed. When the card reader/writer is subjected to head cleaning, the count of use is cleared and the the mode ends. At this time, using a dedicated cleaning card, use the cleaning card procedure according to the instructions on the screen. The count of use above is cleared also when the Test Mode is used for head cleaning.
